FCCR: Transit-Oriented Development Study

4.1 TOD TYPOLOGIES

This chapter provides a holistic Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) analysis for the First Coast Commuter Rail (FCCR) Corridor, and the stations located therein. It begins with a corridor overview, followed by an identification of the Primary and Secondary Typologies for the station areas found within the FCCR corridor and each typologies key characteristics: Character, Density, Mix of Uses, Public Realm, Multimodal Connectivity, and Parking. The subsequent section in the chapter will provide a station-specific analysis scoring TOD Desirability and Readiness based on Local Leadership, Market Strength, Physical Suitability, and Plans in Place. The scoring and analysis of each commuter rail station area identifies which locations are most suitable for TOD. The chapter concludes with summary of corridor goals, measures and targets and their applicability to each of the selected TOD stations.
