KING STREET DESIRABILITY & READINESS The King Street Station scores among the highest for stations along the rail corridor in terms of desirability and readiness for creating TOD. Easily accessible to the historic district, the King Street Station provides residents and visitors with connectivity to the primary historic attractions, education, retail, local transit, as well as employment. With some limitations due to proximity to the river and busy road crossings, the vacant and underutilized parcels, as well as residential properties located near the station, support TOD potential. Public and private partners have collaborated

• Potential push-back to higher density development within the station area from local community

LOCAL LEADERSHIP
