The images below are examples of projects where TOD design principals relevant to the potential future JRTC FCCR Station Areas were implemented. Among these principles are increased density, integration of different uses, and planning of extensive public realms to allow for pedestrian activity, all in the vicinity

of transportation stations. In the case of mixed-use development, commercial activity is typically located on the ground floors, with office and residential on the higher floors. The public realm supports various activity types, creating an overall dynamic urban environment. Figure 5-7 is an example of a mixed-use center with

residential, retail and entertainment blocks. Similarly, Figure 5-8 is an example of a mixed-use neighborhood where a continuous commercial ground floor supports pedestrian activity. Figure 5-9 is an example of affordable housing that was developed based on TOD financial models, and Figure 5-10 is an example of
