6.1 TOD REGULATORY FRAMEWORK AND
INTERAGENCY AGREEMENTS
The proposed FCCR and TOD surrounding stations, involve a number of jurisdictions, including the local governments of Jacksonville, St. Johns County, and St. Augustine, that would need to be engaged in the planning and implementation of a TOD strategy for the corridor. Extensive coordination with the interests and authorities of the overseeing taxing bodies, like the two counties; the landowners around the stations, both public and private; and developers is necessary as JTA advances the rail corridor development. Coordination between these parties falls into two main categories: long-term partnerships and policy alignment, and regional visioning and strategy creation.
