How on target are the proposed examples for the Baymeadows station? Average

Totally on target

Way off base

What comments do you have about the proposed Baymeadows examples?

Spend the money to fix Philips highway traffic!

Terrific examples........except the ones which have parking lots which look identical to today. We have to restrict auto parking.

I think the mixed use development should be structured similar to a Main Street with limited parking in the center, with a focus on the pedestrians in the shopping center. And parking to be in the surrounding areas near the cross streets.

All in all the photos are great, Not the Vernon Hills stuff - way too much surface parking, I'd rather a parking structure or an empty grassy lot. Definitely not the exact thing these developments and TRANSIT are trying to replace which are pavement pits/parking craters.

The Alpharetta development, especially among Avalon blvd is much more tolerable and something not to strive for, but acceptable given the suburban requirements of life sucking vehicles.

I would encourage more replication of Avalon Blvd, any of the wonderful streets in Savannah, local Brooklyn development, Fivepoints.

Something that I think does get overlooked when accommodating for vehicles, if you over accommodate for vehicles and make it really easy to drive to and from these developments, you WILL be killing the success and effectiveness of transit... Then no one will use it. Please keep that in mind.
