AVVERTENZE SU LAVORAZIONE E POSA DEL GRES PORCELLANATO
WARNINGS ON THE PROCESSING AND INSTALLATION OF PORCELAIN STONEWARE
ATTENZIONE: la lavorazione di questo prodotto (inclusi, ma non solo: taglio, foratura, lucidatura o levigatura) può generare silice cristallina respirabile (polvere di silice). L’esposizione senza adeguate misure di protezione può causare gravi malattie, tra cui silicosi e cancro ai polmoni. Consultare la Scheda di Sicurezza (SDS) del prodotto disponibile sul sito www.supergres.com/sds per le precauzioni dettagliate. Non maneggiare prima di aver letto, compreso e applicato tutte le misure di sicurezza.

• Le pavimentazioni da esterno posate a secco in quota sono soggette all’azione del vento, con il rischio di sollevamento delle lastre . Il produttore raccomanda di far verificare l’idoneità del sistema di posa in quota da un tecnico abilitato in base alla normativa locale vigente ed alle condizioni d’uso, al fine di evitare il rischio di danni a persone e cose. • Una lastra ceramica posata su un sistema sopraelevato può rompersi per impatto qualora un oggetto pesante cada sulla stessa da una certa altezza, con il rischio di seri danni per chiunque possa sostare o transitare sulla piastrella stessa. Il mancato rispetto delle istruz ioni fornite dal produttore relative alla posa su sistemi sopraelevati può provocare seri danni alla persone . • Per maggiori informazioni e raccomandazioni di posa si rimanda al nostro sito www.supergres.com • I dati e le indicazioni relative alla resistenza ai carichi e alla flessione riportati sul catalogo, come pure le avvertenze per il posizionamento e la quantità di supporti, sono validi per lastre intere. Eventuali tagli, fori (circolari o rettangolari, tagli che alterano le proporzioni dei lati, ecc.) eseguiti nella lastra, determinano una diminuzione di resistenza ai carichi. E’ pertanto necessario che l’installatore valuti caso per caso l’utilizzo di strutture di rinforzo.
• Outdoor pavings installed unglued above the ground level are subject to the action of the wind, with the risk , in some cases, of becoming airborne . The manufacturer recommends to require the assistance of a qualified professional in order to check the suitability of the installation system above the ground adopted, in accordance with the local laws and regulations and the conditions of use. Failure to do so could result in serious injury or property damage. y • A ceramic slab installed on a raised pedestal system may fracture on impact if a heavy object is dropped onto it from a height, with a risk of injury to t t anyone standing or walking on such slab. Failure to adhere to the manufacturer’s instructions for installation of slabs on raised pedestal systems may result in serious injury. • For further information and recommendations concerning the installation systems please refer to www.supergres.com • Data and guidance on load resistance and bending strength provided in the catalogue, and instructions for the number and plac y ing of pedestals, apply to whole slabs. Any cuts or holes (circular or rectangular, cuts which change the proportions of the sides, etc.) in the slab reduce its load resistance. The installer must therefore assess the need for reinforcing structures on a case-by-case basis.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PROJECT ENGINEERS AND CUSTOMERS
Quando l’applicazione delle lastre in 20 mm prevede l’utilizzo del prodotto ceramico in termini strutturali , si raccomanda al progettista e/o committente una attenta valutazione dei requisiti del progetto in relazione alle caratteristiche tecniche delle lastre. In particolare, al fine di evitare il rischio di danni a persone o cose il produttore raccomanda: • se l’applicazione prevede la posa sopraelevata, tenendo conto che una piastrella potrebbe rompersi in seguito alla caduta su di essa di un corpo pesante, verificare anticipatamente la destinazione d’uso specifica e attenersi alla tabella istruzioni di posa sopraelevata di seguito riportata (pag. 288) ove, in determinate condizioni, è prevista l’applicazione di un rinforzo sul retro della piastrella (doppia rete di fibra di vetro) fornito dal produttore; • con riferimento alla pavimentazione posata in quota, con qualunque sistema di posa a secco, rispettare le specifiche normative e condizioni d’uso locali riguardanti, tra l’altro, a titolo esemplificativo, l’azione del vento, il carico strutturale, le azioni sismiche , ecc.; Il mancato rispetto delle raccomandazioni soprariportate possono portare ad un utilizzo improprio del prodotto e causare eventualmente gravi danni a persone o cose. Per dettagli sul prodotto in 20 mm. di spessore e sui relativi sistemi di posa ed, in particolare, per le raccomandazioni, accorgimenti, limitazioni di utilizzo e precauzioni in fase di posa, si raccomanda di prendere visione del catalogo T20 e del sito www.supergres.com AVVERTENZA: SUPERGRES A MATERIALE GIA’ POSATO: - NON ACCETTA CONTESTAZIONI DOVUTI A VIZI PALESI, COSI’ COME DEFINITI NELLA TABELLA 2 (pag. 306). - NON RISPONDE SULLA QUALITA’ DELL’OPERA PIASTRELLATA MA SOLAMENTE SULLE CARATTERISTICHE DEL MATERIALE FORNITO. E’ BENE CONSERVARE AL TERMINE DELLA POSA, ALCUNE PIASTRELLE DI SCORTA PER EVENTUALI RIPARAZIONI O ANCHE PER DISPORRE DI UN CAMPIONE RAPPRESENTATIVO DEL MATERIALE IN CASO DI CONTESTAZIONE.
If the application of the 20 mm slabs foresees the ceramic product used in structural installations , the project engineer and/or customer must carefully assess the project requirements with regard to the technical specifications of the slabs. To prevent the risk of damage or injury, the manufacturer recommends: • With regard to a raised floor installation a ceramic slab may fracture on impact if a heavy object falls on it from any significant height. Therefore the manufacturer recommends to check the specific intended use before starting the installation and to follow table for raised installation provided below (page 288) . In certain conditions, reinforcing must be applied on the back of the slabs (double fiberglass) supplied and applied by the manufacturer; • With reference to any dry installation system of flooring above the ground level, the manufacturer recommends to comply with local regulations and conditions of use with regard to wind-load, loadbearing, seismic events , etc. Failure to comply with these recommendations may lead to improper use of the product and could cause serious damage or injury. For further details on the 20 mm product and the installation systems, in particular for recommendations , restrictions of use, and precautions during installation, please refer to www.supergres.com and to the 20 mm catalogue. WARNING: FOR MATERIAL THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN LAID, SUPERGRES: - DOES NOT ACCEPT ANY COMPLAINTS FOR VISIBLE DEFECTS, AS DEFINED IN TABLE 2 (page 306). - DOES NOT ACCEPT LIABILITY FOR THE QUALITY OF THE TILED SURFACE BUT ONLY FOR THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE MATERIAL SUPPLIED. ONCE THE MATERIAL HAS BEEN LAID, IT IS WISE TO KEEP ASIDE A FEW TILES FOR POSSIBLE FUTURE REPAIRS OR TO HAVE A SAMPLE OF THE MATERIAL IN THE EVENT OF COMPLAINTS.
