By prioritizing the development of resilient ICT infrastructure, leaders can not only mitigate disaster risk, but also contribute to broader goals of sustainable development and social well-being. To chart a path toward a resilient global future, it is recommended that stakeholders foster public-private partnerships, encouraging open procurement models that allow best-in-class solutions to be adopted. Furthermore, there must be a renewed focus on continuous risk assessment and testing of resilience frameworks to ensure readiness. The convergence of IT, OT, and IoT requires cross-functional collaboration and training to eliminate organizational silos that can become critical vulnerabilities. Finally, investment in a skilled workforce, as emphasized by BICSI's focus on professional development, is essential to ensure that the human element of resilience is as robust as the technological one.
