TREATMENT WITH FOCUSED SHOCKWAVES
FOCUSED SHOCKWAVES (F-SW) Focused shockwaves are used to treat deep target areas. Focused extracorporeal shockwave therapy allows for precise diagnosis and treatment of both active and latent trigger points. These waves can penetrate approximately 12 cm with pinpoint accuracy. BIOMECHANICAL ASPECTS Unlike radial shockwaves, the power of focused shockwaves makes it possible to reduce calcifications or stones and to stimulate tissue regeneration, in addition to offering the general benefits typically associated with shockwave therapy:
1.
Treating calcifications
2. 3. 4.
Activating the healing cascade
Improving blood flow Regenerating tissue
THREE SPACER SIZES FOR TREATMENT VERSATILITY The spacers offer various treatment options. The shorter the applicator, the more powerful the shockwave and the deeper the penetration. The longer the applicator, the more precise the focal zone.
