The acquisition marks a major step in Mountain States’ growth plan and will fulfill the growing demand for high-quality housing in Utah. Groundbreaking is expected to commence next year with the first deliveries occurring in 2028.

St. John Properties has broken ground on Wake Forest Exchange, a 30-acre mixed-use business community in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Once complete, the project will feature six total buildings with over 175,000 square feet of flex/R&D, single-story medical office, and retail space, marking the firm’s first North Carolina development since opening its Raleigh regional office in 2022.

The groundbreaking marks the start of Phase I, which includes a 60,240-square-foot flex/R&D building and an 11,112 square foot retail building. Both are being constructed on a speculative basis to meet fast-changing tenant demands. Construction will be phased to match leasing momentum, with full project completion targeted for 2027.
