The Pensions Regulator has advised that the revised proposed earnings trigger for 2014/15 are as shown below in the table (revised figures are shown in bold).

We were advised at the time of publication that the values are to be published in an Order (a form of secondary legislation) by the DWP (Department for Work & Pensions) and laid before Parliament in 2014 and as such are subject to Parliamentary approval.
We will issue confirmation as soon as the values have been approved by Parliament.
Guidance updated on contractual enrolment and automatic enrolment

The Pensions Regulator has updated their guidance to make it clear that contractual enrolment is not the same as automatic enrolment.
The guidance focuses on:
Contractual enrolment requires worker consent - automatic enrolment does not Schemes currently used for contractual enrolment need to be reviewed if they’re to be used for automatic enrolment Rules on worker communication are different under automatic enrolment – especially relating to ceasing membership.

The Pensions Regulator publishes Employer Staging Forecast

TPR has published an updated forecast showing how many employers reach their staging date each quarter, to assist pension providers, advisers and other intermediaries with capacity planning.
