Built to withstand the rigors of outdoor pursuits like skiing and climbing, TAG Heuer’s new titanium Aquaracer Professional 200 Solar- graph ($3,050) is equipped with a solar-powered quartz movement. Its unique, partly translucent dial lets sunlight and artificial light flow through to keep the battery charged for uninterrupted power. Just two minutes of exposure to direct sunlight powers the watch for an entire day, and once it’s fully charged, the watch can run for up to six months without further light exposure. Should it run down in storage, just 10 seconds of exposure to any light source is enough to kickstart it again thanks to ultra- efficient recharging. Light also charges the luminous hour indexes, hour and minute hands, and the polar-blue lacquered central hands, which glow in green and blue for legibility after dark. ZENITH DEFY CLASSIC FULSAP Last ski season, Zenith partnered with the French luxury ski and ready-to-wear brand Fulsap to pair two limited-edition Defy Classics with a capsule collection of skiwear available through select retailers. Offered in white ceramic ($11,000) limited to 100 pieces and black ceramic ($10,000) limited to 300 pieces, the 41mm Defy Classic Fulsap combines Zenith’s five-pointed star motif with a snowflake shape on
the open-worked dial, contrasted against a rose-gold lower layer for depth and dimensionality. The dial is framed by a ring in red, white, and blue—the tricolors of the French flag and a Fulsap design signature. The pieces have a power reserve of 50 hours. IWC PILOT’S WATCH CHRONOGRAPH TOP GUN EDITION ‘LAKE TAHOE’ Following last year’s launch of the white-ceramic Pilot’s Watch Chrono- graph Top Gun Edition “Lake Tahoe” ($11,700), IWC partnered with the Swiss ski brand Faction on a limited edition set of co-branded luminescent white skis, which quickly sold out. The watches, however, can still be had. The polar-white ceramic
