BAR HH QUARTER HORSES
Dallypost Cowboy (Grumpy) “Grumpy” is by Dallypost Parrdunme and out of a mare called Sevens Cowboy Diva that Jessie bought in 2005 from Bill and Rita White of Ashby NE. She was out of Bill’s stud, Suns Cowboy a grandson of Doc Olena and great grandson of Sugar Bars and Peppy San, that Bill showed successfully a lot in the Midwest. The mare, A Brandy Twist, was a granddaughter of Docs Lynx and great granddaughter of Two Eyed Jack. Every colt or filly that we got out of Darlin was extremely easy to start and had a real “stay broke” kind of mentality. Grumpy himself was very easy to start and has proven himself in every kind of ranch work from dragging calves to starting colts. He’s got a lot of grit, is very cowy (kind of a cow biter), and has maintained his composure in some situations that might have gotten you in a wreck on a lot of horses. After Pard died a few years ago Grumpy took over his mare band and we’ve been really happy with his offspring. Reference Stallion

This is a classy, good minded yearling that ought to make friends wherever he goes. The Baywater Grace babies by our old Dallypost Parrdunme stud have always been super easy to start and have made really nice horses. The dam of Dallypost Cowboy (Sevens Cowboy Diva) always gave us some of the easiest starting, gentlest, best minded horses that I’ve been around no matter what we crossed her on. I think this combination will set Baywater Cowboy up to be an outstanding horse with plenty of eye appeal, size, and athletic ability.

This colt is one that I think should excel as a performance horse or as a cool ranch horse. Four black feet, a pretty bay roan color and plenty of athletic ability make him one you notice in the pen. The Cheetas Dallypost mare has babies with a dash of that performance sting that ought to mix well with the good mind, cow, and athletic ability from Arctic Boon Cat. The Arctic Boon Cat babies have been good to start and make horse training fun.
