14.0 Call him a small horse or larger pony, it doesn’t matter. “Jackson” is good either way and has been a willing student and great riding partner to a variety of youngsters. We have had anyone from experienced to inexperienced on him and all have gotten along great. He has seen outside miles in a variety of terrain and handles it all in stride. He features overall physical balance to match his good mind and he stays gentle. He has a bright future as a youth rodeo pony or just to ranch on and enjoy. 136 Jackson 2022 • Bay Gelding
10.0 The goal of our pony program is to get the younger generation horseback in a way that builds confidence and kindles a fire for riding in the future. “Trooper” fits that description and is content to walk around quietly or trot with some urging, but stays well in hand and gives a youngster control without a tug of war. You won’t miss him with his loud color and he is gentle enough to be enjoyed from the ground as well. 13.0 We call him Pistol and he is an eye catcher with his unique grulla color and solid build. He is gentle to handle, stands on a good foot and knows the rope and the ranch chores. He stands well to mount and is easy to ride, making him a great family partner. The hard to find kind, with enough size for some of the big horse jobs, but gentle enough for the younger family members to enjoy and build some confidence. 138 Pistol 2019 • Grulla Gelding
