Paper girls has been described as an all-girl version of stranger things, but it is so much more than that. This adaptation of Brian K Vaughan and Cliff Chang’s comic book series begins on Hell day 1988 (the day after Halloween). This is where we meet our protagonists as they all rise for their early morning paper rounds. Chaos ensues and they are transported to 2019 where they become involved in a complicated time war. The show is a great adaptation of the comic books and is very much a coming-of-age, female friendship show. Well worth a watch 2.5 popcorn scoops Watch on AMAZON PRIME here
