This fall brought one of our most memorable moments yet: Tom and Liz hosted a Danube River Cruise Full Ship Celebration with 120 friends and family, supported by 19 Backroads Trip Leaders. It was an amazing reminder of what makes traveling together so special—the laughter on board, the energy on the rides and the joy of discovery at every stop. Looking to 2026, we’re excited to share some new ways to explore. Along the Danube River, we’ve added a Multi-Adventure journey, a Dolce Tempo Easygoing e-bike option and now a Family itinerary designed for travelers of all ages. And farther afield, we’re launching a luxury Ocean Cruise in the Galápagos—where island- hopping and wildlife encounters meet refined dining and private butler service. As always, our Trip Leaders, dedicated onshore crew and thoughtfully designed itineraries make every day feel effortless and enriching. Whether it’s pedaling into a vineyard valley, hiking to a hidden viewpoint or sharing stories with fellow travelers on deck, we can’t wait to welcome you on board for another year of incredible journeys.
