The online form for reporting PAYE end-of-year expenses and benefits for 2016 to 2017 has been updated.
Employers can use this online form to report end-of-year expenses and benefits. It includes forms P11D and P11D(b).

Advisory Fuel Rates for Company Cars from 1 September 2017 29 August 2017
HMRC has issued details of the latest Advisory Fuel Rates for Company Cars.
For one month from the date of change, employers may use either the previous or new current rates, as they choose. Employers may therefore make or require supplementary payments if they so wish, but are under no obligation to do either.
The new rates are below (previous rate in brackets where there is a change):

Scotland to expand its charging network for Electric Vehicles 7 September 2017
Scotland is to phase out new petrol and diesel vehicles by 2032, eight years ahead of the UK government’s pledge of 2040.
According to a BBC News report car manufacturers have already been investing heavily in Electric Vehicles (EV). Westminster does not intend to introduce legislation banning petrol and diesel cars but instead use incentives to coax the car industry into the change.
