Following confirmation of the rates and bands on 20 February 2018, HMRC has published a new Pension schemes relief at source for Scottish Income Tax newsletter which providers information to help clarify how the mechanisms for providing pension tax relief will operate in respect of Scottish taxpayers. Rates and thresholds for employers 2018 to 2019 The rates and thresholds on GOV.UK have also been updated to reflect the approved proposals to Scottish income tax.

Bacs Easter processing dates 23 February 2018

With Easter fast approaching, Bacs has highlighted the extra non-processing days during this holiday period.

To ensure your payments are made on time, submit your files as early as possible. Remember, you can submit files up to 30 calendar days in advance of the processing date. If you cannot submit in advance, Bacs recommend early submission on the input day (from 07:00 onwards).

Follow the table below to make sure you don't get caught out by the additional non-processing days.
