our board members sharing quarantine hobbies or hidden talents. I invite you to submit photos of all kinds so that we can continue to learn about each other and foster the strong friendships and relationships that make the CCBA so unique. Also new this year is the Charity Spotlight, in which our members are able to highlight the many charitable organizations that are so important in our community. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me or Lisa if you have a charitable organization that you would like to feature, or any other article submission you believe our members will find interesting. I am honored to be your secretary and look forward for what is sure to be an unforgettable season. Trial Law by Chris Donovan

LLC will speak on offers of judgment and proposals for settlement. We are still planning out the content for the new year. But we hope to have our new Federal Middle District Judge, the Honorable John L Badalamenti, speak at a live meeting in the new year. So, stay tuned, thank you for your patience, and if you have any burning desires for possible topics, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. Real Estate Law by Erin Miller-Meyers, Esq., Chair

As we move into the dog days of summer, your Trial Law Section is hard at work planning for the 2020-21 season. I am honored to serve as the Section’s Chair this year. Besides Donna Marshall and Greg Woods, who are former chairs, this year’s trial law section board is comprised of many newcomers, including Tom Gorman, Alex Figares, Allison Christensen, and Sara Hall.

Then in November, Katie Ender from the Coral Gables office of Lewis, Brisbois, Bisgaard & Smith, LLC will speak on offers of judgment and proposals for settlement.
