Monet: The Late Years June 16 – September 15
Through 52 paintings, the Kimbell Art Museum will trace the evolution of Monet from 1913-1926. Assembled from collections in Europe, the US, and Asia, the exhibition will include more than twenty examples of Monet’s beloved water-lily paintings as well as his later more abstract work. Admission is $18. Purchase your ticket.
Another Frontier: Frederic Remington’s East January 1 - September 8
Currently on display at the Sid Richardson Museum in Sundance Square is an exhibition featuring Frederic Remington’s lesser-known Eastern works. The art hails from a period when the artist yearned to move beyond his popular success as an illustrator to critical fame as a fine artist. Admission is free.
