Closed since 2020, the most famous official residence of the Royal family will soon reopen to the public this summer of 2021. From July to September, visitors will be able to explore the grounds of the palace and have self-guided tours for the very first time. Being the most expansive of all the Royal residences, this 775-room property is often the center for the British people at times of national rejoicing and mourning. One of the last major additions to the palace, the East Front, is where the well-known balcony on which the British royal family traditionally congregates to greet crowds.
