L’Unionculturelledes Franco-Ontariennes (cercled’Embrun) donated$500andall the fabric suitable for quilting they had in stock at the Service d’entraide communautaire (Second Hand Store) in Embrun to Victoria’s Quilts in Russell. Victoria’s Quilts is an organization with chapters all over North America. Its volunteers make quilts for the use of cancer patients. Marie Claire Ivanski asked the store if they could donate some fabric and, as a result, they asked her to come and speak at their meeting, where they decided to offer a donation of money as well.
