NEWLY APPOINTED AS MANAGING DIRECTOR OF AERECO UK & IRELAND, JOHN KELLY IS READY TO SUPPORT THE TRANSITION TO HEALTHIER, MORE ENERGY- EFFICIENT BUILDINGS… High-performance ventilation solutions
When did you join Aereco and what does your role entail? I recently took up the position of managing director for Aereco UK and Ireland. My role is to lead the business across both markets, strengthening our relationships with customers and partners, developing our team and ensuring we continue to deliver innovative, high- performance ventilation solutions. A key focus for me is supporting the transition to healthier, more energy-efficient buildings, while positioning Aereco as a trusted long-term partner in the residential and mixed-use sectors. What is your career background? My career has been centred around the building services and construction sectors, working in leadership roles that combine technical solutions with commercial growth. I have always been passionate about improving building performance, particularly where it intersects with occupant health, energy efficiency and sustainability. This experience has given me a strong appreciation of both the technical and customer focused aspects of our industry, which I bring to my role at Aereco. Tell us about Aereco’s team, products, service and USPs Aereco benefits from a highly experienced and dedicated team across the UK and Ireland, supported by the wider global Aldes Group. Our core strength lies in our demand-controlled ventilation systems, which automatically adapt to occupancy and indoor air conditions. This intelligent approach improves indoor air quality while reducing unnecessary energy loss. In addition to our demand-controlled systems, mechanical ventilation with heat recovery forms an important part of our residential offer. Our InspirAir Side V2 provides a compact, high-performance solution for new-build and refurbishment projects, particularly where space is limited. I spend a lot of my time coaching under-12 rugby, which I find incredibly rewarding. It’s a great opportunity to help young players build confidence, develop teamwork skills and enjoy being active. I’m also passionate about sport more generally and enjoy staying active, as well as spending time with family and friends. Coaching reinforces many of the same values that are important in business - teamwork, development and supporting people to reach their potential.
