GENERAL MANAGER'S MESSAGE | Continued
The Golf course snack bars also close for the season at the end of the month. Their final day of operation will be Sunday, the 27th. The month’s schedule also includes two wonderful family-oriented events. On Sunday the 6th we hold our annual Fall Festival & Tractor Crawl. Followed by the very popular Kids Halloween Carnival Party scheduled for Friday October 18th. This “costume-optional” event will be held in racquets and will include great food as well as lots of age-appropriate activities. Rules Focus for the Month: Cell Phones; Hats in the Clubhouse; Repair Ball Marks. No elaboration necessary. Now is the time to book Holiday parties. Depending on the size of your group we still have several excellent dates available. Give us a call. Speaking of Holidays, although Thanksgiving falls late in November this year, it will be here before you know it. Plan on spending yours with us. Each year, attendance has grown so it is advisable to make your reservations early – particularly if you’ll be hosting a “gathering”. October is the last chance for apples. Typically by the end of the month the orchard is “picked out”. This year’s crop has been a particularly flavorful one. Sometime in October, senior members will receive their proxy to complete and return in preparation for the annual election of the Board. The Annual Election of the Stockholders will be held Thursday, November 21st at 5:30. October also marks the time when many members begin the annual migration to warmer climes for the winter. We hope you have had a great season. From our perspective, we thought it was a good one! For those leaving, please travel safely, stay healthy and we look forward to your return. For those who remain . . . I’ll see you at the Club!
