Steps Taken To Eliminate Danger To Personnel Involved and Others, Including Barriers Where Appropriate: Inform any personnel working in the area that a lift will be carried out from CTV to vessel and ask them to vacate the lift area until the lift is complete.
• Deck barriered off, only people involved with slinging inside barrier. • Slinger to use agreed hand signals to the crane driver. • Radio communication can be used for more information when craning to the Vessel. • Vessel to be pushed on to j-tubes of the wind. • Jackup to maintain a stable position during lift. • Taglines to be used to control load whilst in the air. • All lifting gear are within current test date & conduct pre-use checks. • No one to be under suspended load or near any pinch/crush points.
