Better Buzz Brewing Soon on Imperial Highway
Tony’s Deli Opening Soon in Old Town Placentia
1285 E. Imperial Highway
132 S. Bradford Avenue
Another exciting arrival is Better Buzz Coffee, currently under construction at 1285 E. Imperial Highway, the former Carl’s Jr. site. Expected to open in late 2025, this Southern California favorite will offer craft coffee, teas, cold brews, and fresh bites in a bright, modern café. Founded in San Diego in 2002, Better Buzz has grown to over 20 locations across the region and is known for its signature “Best Drink Ever” and vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. The Placentia location will feature a sleek black-and-gold design, indoor seating, and drive-thru service - bringing an energetic new flavor to the City’s commercial landscape.
A neighborhood favorite for over 50 years in Anaheim, Tony’s Deli built a reputation for its freshly made sandwiches, generous portions, and full-service bar featuring beer, wine, and spirits. Following the passing of its original owner and the closure of the Anaheim location, a new owner is bringing this iconic establishment back - this time as part of the City’s growing Old Town district. The space, which had been vacant for some time, was leased with the intention of reviving the beloved restaurant. Its arrival will add yet another layer of charm, history, and energy to Old Town, making it an even more inviting destination for both residents and visitors.
Together, these new establishments reflect Placentia’s ongoing commitment to supporting local investment, revitalizing key areas, and expanding dining choices for the community. The City warmly welcomes Tony’s Deli, Chick-fil-A, and Better Buzz Coffee - three unique additions that will make Placentia an even more inviting place to live, work, and visit!
