SENIOR GROCERY PROGRAM
SENIOR TRANSPORTATION
The City of Placentia, in partnership with the Orange County Transportation Authority and California Yellow Cab, offers a no-cost, door-to-door, wheelchair-accessible transportation program for Placentia seniors aged 60 and older. It is available 5 days a week from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. To register a new rider, please call the Placentia Senior Center at (714) 986-2332. You will need proof of age and Placentia residency. A form must be filled out.
The Senior Grocery Program for seniors is offered the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month.
COMMODITY FOOD PROGRAM
The Commodity Food Program is a free food distribution service through the Second Harvest Food Bank to seniors every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. COMMUNITY ACTION PARTNERSHIP OF ORANGE COUNTY A free food box distribution program is offered through Community Action Partnership of Orange County, to eligible seniors 60 years and over. Food boxes are distributed the last Wednesday of each month at the Placentia Senior Center. Yearly registration is required.

To schedule a trip to the locations above for Tuesdays and Thursdays only, please call the Placentia Senior Center. Rides must be scheduled 24 hours in advance. You must be registered.
