Topics and feature episodes Since its initial inception as BIFAlink TV and evolution to BIFA TV, BIFA personnel have covered the full range of topics from apprenticeships and training, events, industry news, legal and operational matters. The latest development is the introduction of BIFA TV features, documentary style episodes delving deeper into issues affecting BIFA Members. The first such episode, NaVCIS: Fighting Freight Crime, aired at the end of July spotlighting the work of the National Vehicle Crime Intelligence Service (NaVCIS) and the impact of freight and cargo crime on the industry. The next feature episode is currently in pre-production and will be in partnership with the South Hampshire College group. The episode will emphasise the importance of BIFA Members engaging with local schools and colleges. Viewers will embark on a day in the life of Louis Turner, Solent chair of the Young Forwarder Network, as he meets staff and students at a local campus. The feature will also showcase BIFA’s collaboration over the last 18 months with its Solent member community and the college. Once again we highlight, right, the top 5 episodes aired last month (1-18 August).
