French Language Trip

The French language trip offers a blend of language learning, culture and fun. As with our last trip, students stay with local families, immersing themselves in day-to-day French family life and practising French in context. Each family hosts 2 - 3 ICS students, so no one is alone.
To top up their skills and get the most from the experience, students will have 12 hours of language lessons with professional teachers.
There will be lots of time to practise French, both in the home and beyond. Planned excursions include taking a mountain train to a glacier and an ice cave, a boat trip on stunning glacial lakes, a visit to the animated film museum, sampling French cheese in a cheese factory, hiking through the incredible mountain terrain, and a day out with the host families.
