Learning Outcomes
By the end of the unit, you will be able to:
interact with others collaboratively to talk about comparisons, events and results related to a problematic situation, being able to respect diversity.
1.1.1. describe the causes and consequences of a problematic situation, using time expressions related to present perfect.
Assessment criteria
Chile has suffered from the consequence of climate change since 2000.
1.1.2. compare the solutions given by the problematic situation, using comparative and superlative adjectives.
Electric cars are more expensive than old cars.
Assessment criteria
1.1.3. talk about events, effects and possible consequences of the problematic situation, using if clauses (zero & first conditionals).
If industries keep using oil, they will contaminate water in some countries.
Assessment criteria
1.1.4. elaborate arguments on the solutions of the problematic situation, using expressions to give opinion.
I agree with the new policies in favor of stopping crime. On the other hand, I disagree with people who still contaminate our planet.
