Charlie Kazak had a dream three years ago of seeing trees planted all around Vankleek Hill to make the village more beautiful and green. During the Sunday May Day Festival he and his supporters celebrated the planting of the 25th tree as part of the Charlie’s Trees project. —photo Gregg Chamberlain
