In her free time, she enjoys doing home improvement projects, painting, photography, and repurposing items she obtains through rummage and garage sales. Any activity where Laura can create and/or design is an ideal and enjoyable activity for her. Laura is an avid animal lover with the bulk of her devotion solely reserved for rescuing tiny Chihuahuas. Recently Laura has been spending most of her time tripping over nothing and falling off ladders. Laura does not apologize for being clumsy because that would be like apologizing for her entire existence. EVENTS: • SADOA hosted our Fall Seminar on Thursday, October 21, 2021, at the Tulsa Country Club. • Our final event of the year will be our Holiday Dinner Meeting on Thursday, December 9, 2021.

Following the closure of the Tulsa office, she accepted a position with Toklan Oil and Gas Corporation where she worked for 7 years. Laura now works at PetroLedger Financial Services where she managers owner relations and processes the interest transfers for their biggest client caseloads. Laura was destined to become a Division Order Analyst. Growing up, Laura’s mother worked as a Real Estate Agent and her father worked as a machinist for Baker Hughes. Working with legal contracts in the Energy sector just seemed like a natural fit for her, perhaps even genetic. Laura worked as a Poker Dealer then a Pit Boss while attending Graduate school.There was never a dull moment! The casino experience sharpened her mathematical abilities, built her confidence in interacting with the public, and strengthened her ability to think on her feet. These have all been invaluable tools in her career and in life. Laura graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Master’s in Behavioral Science in 2010. Her education and experience as a counselor have produced both a self- awareness and an empathy for others. Applying these Conservation Tips The costs for natural gas are expected to be higher this winter. Your local utility company has likely given you some energy conservation tips.
