SENIOR KAPPAS MENTORSHIP

Maintaining a Legacy of Achievement: 555 Years of Leadership in the Bond

ally spanning the industries of criminal justice, education, engineering, finance, human resources, ministry, and public policy, having been initiated in five distinct chapters across three provinces, and including two former province polemarchs and an Elder Watson Diggs awardee, we are bound by a bond of fraternity and a love for Kappa and the Memphis (TN) Alumni Chapter. I am humbled and honored to stand in their presence and to be allowed to grow and flourish under their tutelage. This, in- deed, is what the fraternity means when we talk about “Training for Leadership.” Their sage wisdom and council, both so-

licited and unsolicited, has helped me to grow and to garner a greater respect and appreciation for the bond. They have indeed helped me to weather the storm. For the joyful moments, times of sorrow, leadership challenges, and monumental triumphs, I thank my fellow polemarchs. Together, we each stand in support of our chapter and commit to always strive to achieve. While I am indeed the master of my fate and the captain of my soul, it is because of the example and legacies of “The Dreamer” and the coun- cil’s commitment to living the dream that I am who I am. I commit to forever be true and to live out the precepts of

our noble clan. On location at the Shelby County Courthouse . Opposite Page: From left: LaVaughn Bridges (Senior Kappa), James B. Stafford III (Senior Kappa), Andrew Rosser (Senior Kappa), Willie F.
