From the Desk of the Board President Hugh Ripps

It has been a busy time for the Board. We have a diverse Board with differing ideas, which helps strengthen the outcomes and decisions reached. I would also like to commend the Board on being united once a decision is reached. Whether a vote yes or no on a proposal, the entire Board has stood behind the decision and moved on to the next challenge.

The Board also welcomes our new additions to the management team, Garfield Fortune and Jorge Abreu. We have received very positive feedback regarding them and their respective teams.

As part of our normal operating procedures and due to the impact of our current economic environment, all department managers are ensuring expenditures are closely watched and those being made are genuinely required. Major projects, that are almost upon us, are implementing the NorthStar system and re - opening the Tee Room. The staff is working diligently to ensure the implementation of the NorthStar system has minimum impact on our residents, and to ensure the Tee Room provides great service and great food at excellent prices. The Board asks that you understand any issues that occur will be addressed as quickly as possible and minimize any impact to the community. We are excited regarding both these undertakings and are sure they will add value to our entire community. We will continue to communicate as much information as possible to our residents.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to email them to me, Henry, or any Board Member.
