Although his most famous compositions were written for piano and/or orchestra (e.g. Rhapsody in Blue and An American in Paris ), Gershwin wrote numerous musicals and songs. Come celebrate the life and music of George Gershwin as Dr. Cimarusti presents a lecture-recital exploring Gershwin's unique musical language and the life of one of music's most iconic songsters.
