K. Structural defect:

1.  means any defect in the load-bearing portions of a new home that adversely affects its load-bearing function to the extent that the home becomes or is in serious danger of becoming unsafe, or otherwise uninhabitable.

2.  does not include damage caused by movement of the soil including but not limited to:

(i) R esulting from a flood, earthquake, acts of God, or

(ii) Resulting from accidental loss or damage from causes beyond the fault and control of us, including but not limited to the following: fire, explosion, smoke, water escape, windstorm, frost, hail, lightning, flood, blasting, mining, falling trees, sinkholes, changes in the underground water table not reasonably foreseeable and earth movement not attributable to negligence on the part of us or its subcontractors or employees. L. Warranty period: The period of warranty coverage (1 year, 2 years or 10 years) commencing on the Warranty Date.
