SHARING HIS EXPERIENCE

Dale was a commercial driver for 38 years, including about 17 with Averitt. After serving as a Truckload driver out of Lexington KY for more than seven years, and as a driver for our Compass Manufacturing account in Louisville since 2013, Dale was recently named as a Driver Development Center instructor in Lexington. Dale is excited for the opportunity to share his experience with drivers who are either new to our team or have completed our Dock-To-Driver Training Program and are polishing their skills before getting on the road. “I feel honored that I can use my experience to help drivers,” Dale says. “I want to try to give them a better picture of what to expect, as a fellow driver who just recently came off the road. I’ve been in no telling how many different types of situations with shippers, receivers and traffic. I can relate that to drivers, tell them what I’ve experienced, and help them to prepare for what to do if they ever encounter those situations.” Our Driver Development Center training is currently offered in Cookeville TN and Lexington. When Dale learned about the program, he jumped at the opportunity to be a mentor. “I think the Driver Development Center program is the right way to go to help drivers and point them in the right direction,” Dale says. “The vision that If there’s anybody who knows what it takes to be a driver, it’s DALE SANDERS DALE SANDERS. NEW WAY TO LOG IN TO RED THINKIN’ REWARDS Associate Employment ID Number Will Soon Be Used For Other Programs As part of our commitment to keeping your personal information safe, we’re in the process of updating how you log on to programs like Red Thinkin’ Rewards, the Company Store and more. Until now, your login for several programs has been a combination of letters in your last name and a part of your Social Security number. Beginning June 1, you’ll use your new Associate Employment ID number for logging in to Red Thinkin’ Rewards. You’ll receive more information soon about updating your Red Thinkin’ Rewards login to the new number. To see your Associate Employment ID number, simply log in to MyPortal and click on “Edit My Profile.” Your number can be found on the “At A Glance” page. In the coming months, we plan to expand the use of the Associate Employment ID numbers to more programs, helping further protect your personal info. So be on the lookout for more information soon!
