Base cards in this set were made as a Star Ruby parallel, serial-numbered to 50 copies. Also, the 50 "Action" parallels were also issued as Star Rubies. The Action Star Rubies are numbered to 15. Pictured here is a Star Rubies of Braves Hall of Famer Chipper Jones. PSA 7
This 15-card set featured players destined for the Hall of Fame. Although they were not on the path to stardom, as evidence by the Jose Cruz, Jr. card. Each card was die-cut resemble a luggage tag with an actual string. Finding the string on these cards still intact is extremely difficult. It was even harder to pull these cards from packs. They were inserted at a rate of 1 in every 6 cases.
