In 1998, ahead of its 10 year anniversary, Upper Deck inserted ballots in its Series One issue for collectors to vote on their favorite players. This 30-card set features the fan favorites from 1989-1999. These inserts are strikingly similar to an insert from 1998 Upper Deck Series One, and come in three parallels. Double -numbered to 4000; Triple- numbered to 100; and Home Run is a 1 of 1. Pictured here is the Ken Griffey jr. Team Triple variation, numbered to 100 and graded BGS 9.
1999 UD Retro included the Distant Replay insert and a variation named Level 2, numbered out of 100. The Distant Replay Level 2 is a 100 card set and randomly inserted as a hobby product only. The Ken Griffey Jr. here is a Level 2, out of 100 and graded BGS 9.
