Physiotherapy can help you!

Physiotherapy is a safe, natural, and effective solution for patients living with neck pain and headaches. We’ll develop a treatment plan for you so that you can get back to feeling your best. In your sessions, you’ll be taken through moves that build strength and flexibility. Our treatment plans focus on relieving pain by strengthening neck muscles to alleviate strain, which can reduce the severity and regularity of your headaches. Stretching the muscles that have grown tight along the back of your neck and those along the shoulders can help you find relief from the tension that is causing your pain.

Are you experiencing these symptoms?

Some common symptoms that may signal it’s time for you to see a physiotherapist for an assessment of your neck and/or triggers for your headaches are: • Numbness or tingling into the upper extremities • Chronic headache pain (at least 15 days per month) • Arm weakness • Inability to fully stand or sit up straight

• Stiffness and muscle tightness in the upper body • Difficulty turning your head from side to side • Loss of sleep due to pain • Poor posture

Give The Physiotherapy Center LTD. a call today

Call us today so we can help you quickly find relief from chronic neck pain and headaches. We’ll address the symptoms you’re experiencing and help you learn how to prevent them in the future!

A physiotherapist can pinpoint the root cause of your neck pain and stiffness, as well as determine what kind of headaches you’re experiencing.

Staff Spotlight: Reeses Santiago Reeses is a Yorkie mix rescue who joined the Santiago family in 2017. He is about 5-6 years old and loves to hang out in the front office and visit with the staff and patients here at Trinity PT. We affectionately refer to him as Trinity’s “therapy” dog because he provides our patients with a morale boost that positively contributes to their experience here at Trinity Physical Therapy. Reeses loves going for walks and going to the dog park, sleeping(especially on people’s laps), and loves to show affection by giving lots of “kisses”. His favorite treats are cheese, peanut butter, & strawberries. Fun Fact: Reeses learned how to communicate via pressing buttons that then relay an auditory message to humans.

CONNECTING EXERCISE WITH MENTAL HEALTH

Have you been struggling with depression or anxiety? Is it difficult to get out of bed in the morning? Do you find yourself self-isolating or no longer participating fully in work or hobbies? If you answered yes to any of these questions– we want you to know first and foremost that you’re NOT alone. According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, 1 in 20 U.S. adults experiences serious mental illness each year, while 1 in 6 U.S. youths aged 6-17 experience a mental health disorder each year. Mental health struggles are often stigmatized to the point where they can be challenging to talk about with friends, family, and even trusted medical professionals. We can’t stress enough how critical it is to seek help when you’re feeling symptoms of a mental illness. Mental health treatment, like therapy, medication, and self-care, has made recovery possible for so many. We at The Physiotherapy Center LTD. want you to know that you have options for your treatment– and you can get started on your recovery today by speaking to a medical professional. Once you have taken these first steps, you can also begin to make lifestyle changes that positively contribute to your mental health. Can you guess what one of the most influential behaviors we can adopt is? That’s right– exercise! It’s a proven fact that people who exercise regularly have better mental health and lower rates of mental illness. Exercise improves not only our mood, concentration, and alertness but also our cardiovascular and overall physical health.

If you don’t currently incorporate exercise into your weekly routine, you may be wondering how you can get started. Maybe you’re wondering how you can begin to get active when your mental illness can make even the smallest of tasks feel impossible. The good news for all of us is that it doesn’t take much to make a positive change. According to studies, low to moderate-intensity exercise is enough to enhance your mood and thinking patterns. You can start by going on a brisk walk around your neighborhood, taking up cycling, or going for a swim at your community pool. If you believe you could benefit from some extra assistance, don’t hesitate to give The Physiotherapy Center LTD. a call. We can design a customized exercise program to help you get out of a funk and into a new, happier phase of life.
