OVERVIEW

Learning Outcomes Graduates will: • Master how to improve healthcare services and lead organizational change through effective leadership. • Apply in-demand business management tools to health-related environments to deliver quality and equitable care. • Develop a deep knowledge of the social determinants of health, including issues of health disparity, poverty, structural racism, discrimination, and biases that impact health delivery. • Build expertise in the skills needed for innovative and action-oriented leadership, including organizational management, decision-making, cultural proficiency, and patient empowerment. Become a HIMSS Member Wake Forest is proud to be an Academic Organization Affiliate of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). Obtain free membership to HIMSS and an opportunity to attend the organization’s annual conference through our program.
