I magine being surrounded by a beautiful the heart of Napa Valley. Far Niente is an Italian phrase meaning “without a care” and was founded in 1885 by John Benson. The winery is known for chardonnay and cabernet sauvignon vintages. According to Far Niente winemaker Nicole Marchesi, she and her colleagues work well as a team and have a clear vision of the winery’s landscape of flowers and trees as you take a walk around the grounds of the picturesque estate known as Far Niente Winery in Oakville— chardonnay house-style and quality. Additionally, it takes a cohesive team—starting in the vineyard and winery—to make excellent wine. The longevity of employment of some of the winery’s employees is a testament that the team loves their work, and always keeps quality and excellence in the front of their minds. Marchesi has worked there for 20 years and cellar master, Javier Muñoz, has worked there for more than 30. Besides its impressive cabernet sauvignon, Far Niente also produces its renowned chardonnay.
