What I did: My job entailed making sure numbers balanced where they were supposed to, figuring out why numbers didn’t balance, fixing the unbalanced numbers, and reconciling bookwork for the day. What I liked: I liked getting a better understanding of the bookkeeping position and using my new knowledge from it to improve other areas of my work as well. Being a bookkeeper has helped me better understand the purpose of why we do things the way that we do. Future Dream Job: I don’t have a dream job in particular, but I have dream aspects for my future job. I want to have a more “normal” schedule, like 9-5 during a week with only working the occasional weekend. I would like a job that has a good working atmosphere and most likely working with people.
