What I did: I was able to take calls from dental providers and members and provide them with the information they needed about their dental insurance and assist with any kind of question they had about their insurance. I answered calls about dental benefits and claim status and was train on how to use all the new computer systems that Lincoln uses and learned a ton of information about dentist and dental insurance. What I liked: My personal favorite part about my internship was talking on the phone to the providers and members. From each call I felt like the callers were teaching me even more about dental then I already knew. I love talking to people and taking calls all day was a great way to help better my communication and learn about different kinds of dental insurance across the U.S.
Future Dream Job: Accountant.
