What I did: I worked in the accounting department of Bison USA at the Amherst office. I worked with accounts receivables and payroll. Some of the accounts receivable tasks that I completed were billing, invoice auditing, and analysis of customers. For payroll I used an excel macro to enter employee hours in the accounting system. I also maintained hourly driver revenue spreadsheets for management to analyze driver performance. These were just a few of my duties. I worked on numerous other accounting and office projects as well. What I liked: There were a lot of things that I liked at Bison USA. What I liked the most was how much I was able to learn and develop. It is extremely important to me to keep growing my professional skills. I was able to accomplish that over the summer at my internship. I also liked all the amazing people that I got to work with. Having good people around the office to learn from made it a fun place to work. This internship allowed me to explore different opportunities and get a better idea of what kind of job I want to pursue in the future.
Future Dream Job: My dream job is something in the accounting/finance field.
