What I did: During this internship, there was many different responsibilities and opportunities that came along with the job including projects, client meetings, and professional development. My summer was spent going to meet with clients regarding renewals for the insurance and also diving into the different polices and coverages they may need for their business. On top of that, I worked on projects that improved process and efficiency of different aspects of the company including carrier relations, financial strength, and new hire documents. What I liked: I enjoyed all different aspects of the internship however the part I liked the most was the real professional experience with clients in the B2B setting. This allowed me to properly understand the prep that goes behind working with a client while also navigating the appropriate dress, atmosphere, and language to use within that meeting.
Future Dream Job: Account executive in P&C.
