Due to the popularity of light emitting diodes, lighting has become very efficient over the past 20 years with most products on the market falling comfortably into the A to A +++ rating. To make way for future improvements in energy saving technology, a new grading system has been implemented which simplifies the grading system as well as making it much harder for products to achieve higher ratings.
The grades now range from A to G and all products are re-classified on this new scale. Customers can be assured they are still receiving the high quality lighting products from Sensio they did previously. However, the simplified scale now makes it easier to make an informed decision when choosing their lighting as well as allowing room on the scale for products with future advancements in energy saving technology.
