The story of this painting represents the long years of the war in Syria. This war, which has destroyed a beautiful country and has made it a marsh, has also ruined almost all hope for a future worthy of its innocent children. I could not find colors other than the black and red to express this human tragedy - forced emigration, massive psychological harm, and the destruction of the Syrian families.
