Just make sure it’s at least 30 SPF.

DOUBLE CLEANSE. Double cleansing is a new skin care practice with a name that describes it precisely. First, use an oil-based cleanser to break down any makeup, sunscreen, or excess oils on your skin. Scrub gently for at least one minute; sing your favorite song or set a timer — just be sure it’s one minute. Including the neck and chest in a skin care routine is also incredibly important. Just extend your double cleansing, moisturizer, SPF, and any other steps to your neck and chest. PEST OF THE MONTH A Well-Known Bug — The Ant

INSIDER OF THE MONTH BECKY LEWIS IS TRANSFORMING FITNESS IN ARIZONA

Ants are common creepy crawlers in Arizona, with three main types local to us. Rover Ants Rover ants, one of the most common species found in our area, are often spotted scurrying up and down vertical surfaces like grass blades and fence posts. Come dusk, these ants are drawn to lights, and during summer, their winged females may be found floating in pools in large numbers. Harvester Ants Harvester ants are recognized for their large size, ranging from 4 1/2 millimeters to 13 millimeters in length. Often mistaken for fire ants, they’re reddish in color and known for their seed-collecting behavior. These ants construct larger mounds in dirt or grass, but they typically don’t invade homes. Odorous House Ants These ants range from 1/16-inch to 1/8-inch in length and are typically brown or black. They can form super colonies of up to 100,000 ants with multiple queens, facilitating the exchange of food, water, and breeding materials between satellite locations. Treatment Because only about 5% of the colony will be above ground at any given time, we use a variety of different baits to get down into the entire colony. Ants are very social insects, so those that come in contact with the product on the surface will spread it throughout the colony. Reminder: If we don’t solve your ant problem the first time, we will come back out. We offer free re-services in between your regular maintenance services!
