Our Employee Assistance Program underscores our commitment to fostering the wellbeing and professional growth of our workforce, cultivating a nurturing work environment. Tailored to local contexts, our program in Portugal offers confidential and free-of-charge support services covering legal, financial, and physical and mental health concerns. In 2023, we conducted 120 counselling sessions for 41 assistance processes, with a notable majority of female users and a significant uptake among individuals aged 31 to 60. The sessions, predominantly conducted online, addressed various areas including psychology, legal matters, and nutritional counselling. The utilisation rate for processes stood at 14%, and for sessions, it was 40%. While surveys measuring wellbeing and work ability received no responses, satisfaction surveys indicated high levels of contentment with the program’s quality and effectiveness. Webinars further supplemented our commitment to employee development, with a focus on mindfulness, healthy practices, financial literacy, and sustainability. With 77 webinars conducted and 425 registrants, these initiatives fostered collaboration, knowledge exchange, and a sense of belonging among our employees.
