Evertis has for several years been an active participant in the valued Packaging & Sustainability Forum, organized by the renowned Instituto de Embalagens in São Paulo, Brazil. Our engagement in this event is aligned with our commitment to advancing sustainable practices within the packaging industry. The Evertis team gathered with other industry experts, as well as brand owners, to share valuable insights and expertise, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in achieving PET circularity. Through these engagements we contribute to shaping discussions, driving innovation, and fostering a collective commitment to sustainability across the packaging value chain. As we reflect on our past participation, we remain dedicated to continuing our efforts in promoting recycling, fostering innovation, and championing a circular economy culture within the industry. “The event held by the Instituto de Embalagens within the premises of the company Natura, considered one of the most sustainable companies in the world, was a great success! At this event we were able to showcase Evertis, focusing on our technical innovations, diversity of solutions, and highlighting our innovations in sustainable materials with the incorporation of post- consumer recycled content in our formulations. These solutions have the Anvisa approval to be used in food, even with our 100% PCR content material. In the lecture we addressed the topic ‘PET and innovations in packaging seeking sustainability’ where we explained that the solution to the plastic waste problem is to first use the correct material and then recycle it, as to achieve a circular economy. We also presented part of the social actions that Evertis is carrying out to educate, support and encourage awareness about sustainability, demonstrating the company’s great commitment to a more sustainable world. We believe this event was an amazing opportunity for Evertis and all participants, as we’ve received several messages of support and gratitude after out talk.”

Every year, Evertis participates in the annual Sustainability Packaging Summit, a fundamental gathering in the sustainability calendar. In 2023 sustainability leaders from the packaging sector convened in Amsterdam.
